1. What kind of material is the models made of?
All of our scale models are made out of high quality diecast metal from manufactures like Kyosho, Minichamps, and Herpa. Only 1/87 scale models are made from plastic parts

2. Does the consumer have to assemble the models?
No. All of our models are preassembled from the manufacturers. This ensures the models are of highest build quality.

3. What do the scales mean?
We have a variety of scales available. 1/18, 1/43, and 1/87 are the most common. 1/18 scale models are approximately 8-9 inches in length. 1/43 scale models range from 3-4" in length. 1/87 scale modes are usually about 1 inch.

4. What brands are available?
We deal mainly in Kyosho, Minichamps, and BMW Promotional.

5. What is your return policy?
We will accept returns in the event of severe damages or incorrect orders. Otherwise, there is a 20% restock fee. The consumer is responsible for shipping in case of returns (unless the incorrect model was shipped. In that case, Bimmers Model World will pay the shipping cost).

6. Can I save my shopping cart?
Unfortunately that feature is not available on our shopping cart. However, the shopping cart will keep your order active for an hour. Inactivity for more than an hour will result in the loss of a cart. You may check your shopping cart by clicking the shopping cart link at the top of every page.

7. How long will it take for me to get my model after i order?
We usually process the order within the first 48 business hours. The model is then packed and shipped via UPS at the end of the day. Orders that are made during the weekend will be processed Monday morning.

8. How did Bimmers Model World come to be?
Bimmers Model World is an extension of a bigger company, Bimmers Clinic. Specialists in an immaculate facility providing top quality work on your real size BMWs. We once collected models. Now we sell them. Our years of experience and passion for BMWs help us understand and appreciate them in miniature size.

9. What kind of payment do you accept?
We prefer Visa or MasterCard, but will accept checks and money orders upon special request. We do not accept escrow, paypal, and absolutely no CODs.

10. How are the models shipped?
Every product shipped from Bimmers Model World is via UPS Ground. Special requests for overnight or 3 day select must be made when ordering the model. Included in the shipping charges are the box, packaging material, and processing fee. The rates are as follows:
1/43 Model - $6.00
1/24 Model - $8.00
1/18 Model - $12.00
Multiple and International Orders are calculated based on actual shipping charges. Please contact us if you ordered more than one model or have a shipping address outside the United States.
